Overview
The Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) supports consistent portfolio and project management practices for the university, enabling project leaders to successfully deliver their promised value to their customers. The office ensures that effective project management is a core competency of the university.
What We Do
Once a project is approved, EPMO guides your initiative from planning through implementation to launch. This step ensures your project stays on track, meets objectives, and delivers value to the university.
The PMs work with customers to:
-
Define timelines, milestones, and deliverables
-
Assign roles, manage stakeholders, and ensure team alignment
-
Identify challenges early and provide mitigation strategies
-
Oversee development, testing, and system configuration
-
Track progress, provide updates, and adjust plans as needed
-
Ensure a smooth rollout and handoff to operational teams
Our Approach
Plan project with charter creation: stakeholders, timeline, resources
Develop detailed schedule and assign team roles during Planning phase
Execute deliverables and manage progress through monitoring & control
Proactively identify and mitigate risks, issues, and change requests
Conduct formal launch and transition of deliverable(s) to operations
Document outcomes, share lessons learned, and support successful adoption
