Kristi Horning joined George Mason University in 2023 as a project manager. As an enterprise project manager, she leads major initiatives including the MIDAS program, the university’s network upgrade project, and the cloud migration for compute and storage. Prior to joining George Mason, Kristi worked as a project manager in specialized construction, dental technology, and marketing, gaining extensive experience managing complex projects across diverse industries. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Goucher College and a master’s degree in IT project management from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Outside of work, Kristi enjoys spending time with her family, reading, exploring used bookstores, visiting national parks, and caring for her many adopted animals.
